Off-campus/remote access is now available for library electronic resources via OpenAthens instead of VPN.
OpenAthens is an Identity and Access Management System used to authenticate UCY students, faculty and staff via their UCY credentials (username/password), when community members are out of the UCY network (i.e. UCY IP range).
Inside the Library and generally within UCY network, the Library’s e-resources will continue to be accessible without further authentication.
Subscriptions that require authentication via special username/password will not be affected.
