Description: JoVE produces and provides science videos aiming to improve scientific research and education. It hosts a large library of Innovative methods to enhance research projects (Journal & Encyclopedia of Experiments), but also video textbooks explaining concepts taught in undergraduate courses – Jove Core. Jove Science Education is tailored to teach practice and theory of scientific experiments through visual demonstrations, whereas the JoVE Lab Manual collects practical applications for lab training.
The JoVE platform is composed of three sections:
- JoVE Research, which includes: Experimental methodologies published in the JoVE Journal, a peer-reviewed scientific journal and Scientific protocols featured in the JoVE Encyclopedia of Experiments, a video anthology of advanced experimental techniques.
- JoVE Education, which contains: Introductory video concepts for teaching foundational subjects (Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacology, etc.) in JoVE Core, Educational laboratory videos in the JoVE Lab Manual and Subject-specific content for advanced courses (Organic, Inorganic, and Analytical Chemistry, Laboratory Safety, Psychology, Engineering, Physics I and II, Biology, etc.) found in JoVE Science Education.
- JoVE Business, which currently offers: Microeconomics, Finance, Marketing.
