The library of the Archaeological Research Unit (ARU) maintains a research-level collection to support the research and teaching of the Department of History and Archeology and it’s housed on the premises of ARU, on 12 Gladstonos Street, in central Nicosia.

The collection is curated by ARU’s academic staff following the Department’s curriculum and the staff’s research activities and aiming to provide up-to-date coverage in the field of Archaeology. The collection includes ca. 20,000 titles of print books, nearly 6,000 offprints, ca. 300 journal titles, and related audio-visual material (e.g. DVD).

The material of ARU cannot be checked out, as the branch functions only as a reading room with photocopiers/scanners and computers offering access to all the electronic resources and services of the UCY Library.
