The Library of the University of Cyprus is pleased to announce a Transformative Agreement (“Read and Publish” ) with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) (https://www.rsc.org/).
The “RSC Platinum” agreement provides access to all RSC electronic journals for 2024, as well as the possibility of publishing in open access in all RSC hybrid and gold journals at no cost to authors affiliated with the university community, and especially the Department of Chemistry.
The University of Cyprus is among the first academic institutions to sign this agreement with the RSC. Sara Bosshart, the Royal Society of Chemistry Head of Open Access, stated : “We are proud to welcome Cyprus for the first time, joining the growing number of countries with whom we have an RSC Open Access agreement. Open Access is at the core of our mission to help the chemical sciences make the world a better place and a crucial part of that is providing unrestricted global access to all of the cutting-edge research we publish.”
