Transfer of High-Demand Material to Short Loan Collection
Teaching staff can propose books or other materials to be transferred to the Short Loan Collection. This request should be made 3-4 months before the start of each academic semester for the purpose of checking and purchasing the material that is not in the Library’s collection. To propose material for the Short Loan Collection, you need to complete the “High-Demand Material Transfer form in Short Loan Collection” which you can send it or deliver it to Ms. Niki Karaoli
Journal articles and book chapters that are essential for course needs can be made available as photocopies. This should be done in accordance with copyright law.

Conversion of Teaching Material for Print–Disabled Students
The Bibliographic Support Service for Print-Disabled Persons converts teaching materials into formats suitable for students with visual impairments, before the start of each academic semester. Academic staff members who have students with visual impairments in their classes are responsible for identifying the specific teaching materials required for these students. This information should be communicated well in advance of the semester. If not all chapters of a book are needed, it is suggested to identify and convert only the key chapters.
Reproduction of material in such formats is excluded by the Law on Intellectual Property 59 /76, 7.–(2) (xix) for the benefit of individuals with special needs.
