In case you return an item and it appears to be damaged:<

(a) If there is no indication that the item was damaged on purpose, then you will be charged with the expenses required for its preservation or replacement.

(b) If there is indication that the item was damaged on purpose, then, in addition to the charges mentioned above, other penalties may also occur.

It is to your benefit, in order to avoid charges, to check in advance the material you wish to borrow and notify the Circulation Desk about any damages you may notice.

Users not willing to respond to their financial obligations towards the Library may be temporarily or permanently banned from using the Library. Enrolled students with such outstanding obligations cannot graduate.
