Participation in consortia in Cyprus and Greece

• Cyprus Academic Libraries Union Catalog

The UCY Library is an active member and coordinator of the Cyprus Academic Libraries Union Catalog. In collaboration with the Support Team of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Union Catalog, the UCY Library has contributed to the implementation of CALUC.

• Hellenic Academic Libraries Union Catalog

The UCY Library is member of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Union Catalog and its Director has had a substantial contribution to the implementation of the project.

• HEAL-link and CALC

Participation in HEAL-link (Hellenic Academic Libraries Link) and CALC (Cyprus Academic Library Consortium). These collaborations establish common policies and reduce costs relating to subscriptions in e-journals and databases, as well as information management systems. The goal is that the participants develop their collections at a minimum cost, while expanding their information sources in order to accommodate their users’ instruction and research needs.
