LibQUAL + ® Measuring the quality of library services
The University of Cyprus Library conducted a user satisfaction and services assessment online survey, applying to the whole of the University community.
During the survey all University community members were asked to reply online to LibQUAL+® by the Association of Research Libraries, which is used by more than 1.000 libraries worldwide. The University of Cyprus Library was the first Greek-speaking library to employ the survey and thus translated and adjusted the questionnaire to the Greek academic environment.
Participants in the survey had the chance to express their views on the Library’s services through 22 questions, grouped as follows:
Affect of Service: quality of staff service
Information Control: usefulness of material and access to it
Library as Place: premises and facilities
