About the library

The Library consists of five branches, including the Main Library, that are freely accessed by all users. Its holdings include 286.000 book and printed journal titles, which correspond to 333.000 volumes, while approximately 9.000 new books are added to the collection every year.

The Library is fully electronic regarding its use and hybrid regarding its content, since its collections include printed, digital and audiovisual material. All material is accessible through EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS), a federated search tool that provides easy access to printed, digital and audiovisual material, as well as to the full text of articles, through a simple search. Printed material can also be searched at the library catalogue, while electronic material is accessible from the library website.

More information about library services and access to electronic services can be found at the website.
